Dollar Car Rental

Not all people have cars.  Sometimes even car owners are without their car.  It could be a vacation or business trip need.  Some folks try to avoid long trips in their own car.  They want to avoid the miles of wear and tear on their own vehicle. That’s where Dollar car rental can enter the picture.

Consider this.  Your home is outside the city.  You work in the city.  You live near the railroad station.  A car would just sit around in a parking lot, so what have it?  Nobody drives the car while you’re at work.  Run errands on Saturday.  Go to Avis or Hertz for a car for the day.  Drive it around town to do all the things needed for that day, use it to drive to the local movie theater that evening, then return it on Sunday.  That adds up to about for all the necessary car use.  Over the course of a year that’s about 40, a lot less than owning a car with all the associated costs.  The car rental is a bargain.

If a car is always needed, then by all means purchase.  If the school bus doesn’t run, someone has to drive the children to school.  All the groceries may be too heavy to carry on a bus.  Then it’s like the song lyrics “Buy buy buy” a car.  But with a little planning there’s no purchase necessary, just rent for the short term use.

Businesses for which employees travel a lot have to pay mileage reimbursement.  That’s often in the neighborhood of fifty cents or more per mile.  Add it up – a day if someone drives 100 miles. Renting a car from Dollar car rentals or Budget is only $20 each day, plus $12 for a few gallons of gas is still only $32 for that same 100 mile day. That company would do better with a Dollar car rental.
